The brief has been launched by London Bridge Quarter, which encompasses Western Europe's tallest building The Shard, alongside other areas in development. These include a corporate headquarters building named The Place, while London Bridge Station is also set for major redevelopment.

The retained brief is understood to include a broad range of PR services including consumer and corporate work, with the aim of raising the profile of the services on offer across the quarter.

The quarter has been developed by Sellar Property Group, which is owned by entrepreneur Irvine Sellar.

Sellar Design and Development marketing director Lisa King confirmed that the pitch process was under way, with an agency expected to start work next year at the same time as the development becomes operational.

The news comes after Kallaway PR was appointed in July to launch and promote the viewing platform in The Shard. Opening in February 2013, The View from The Shard will be 800ft above London.
