As a leading broadcast hire company, Procam provides broadcast equipment, technical expertise and crew for a range of UK TV shows.

Procam has appointed the agency to help differentiate its brand and showcase its work as part of an aggressive growth strategy during the next five years.

Capella's brief is to target TV and marketing trade media, as well as national publications.

It will also highlight the role Procam's team plays in making shows such as Made in Chelsea and Derren Brown’s How to Win The Lottery. The account will be led by Capella agency founder and CEO Gareth Thomas.

Thomas said: ‘At a time when everyone in TV is under pressure to create more quality content with fewer financial resources, broadcast hire is really showing its value. We're looking forward to delivering a campaign that has a direct positive impact on Procam's sales.’

Thomas set up Capella PR this summer after leaving his role as Brands2Life head of digital.
