Kaizo will introduce the product to influencers within the tech, gadget and gaming world, as well as promote its family gaming and educational credentials during the Christmas period.
The gadget is a robotic ball controlled via Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, with Sphero’s gaming apps controlling the ball, or the ball-controlling actions within the game. The system can also be used to learn basic programming.
Kaizo MD Rhodri Harries said the wide-ranging appeal of the product would see Kaizo reach everyone from ‘T3 to Blue Peter'.
Sphero has been available in the US market since December 2011, where comms activity is handled by Airfoil. The UK launch of Sphero is the first outside the US market.
