Paul Lucas has taken leave of the company after working there since 1995, when it was named Band & Brown Communications. Lucas is currently on gardening leave, which is expected to be completed towards the end of the year.

Lucas told PRWeek: ‘It’s been the most amazing journey, but I felt it was the right time to move on. It gives me time to think about what I want to do next.’

Lucas added that he may move on to an agency role next, although this is just one of a number of considerations.

Shelley Morrell remains at Citizen Brando as managing partner.

Citizen was launched as an agency network last October, comprising Citizen Brando in the UK, following the merger of Band & Brown Communications and Brando, and partners across North America, Asia-Pacific, India and South America.
