Roger Staton wins Osram UK B2B and consumer PR job

Roger Staton Associates has won the entire UK PR business of

lighting manufacturer Osram following a four-way pitch.



The six-figure account comprises B2B and consumer work, raising

awareness of the brand in the lighting supply chain as well as among

consumers.



The challenge is to reach trade audiences such as contractors and

wholesalers.



Account director Amanda Hassall said: 'They are quite traditional and

difficult to influence, but very important for Osram. Some of them are

not even computerised.



The work involves explaining how technical innovations within lighting

can be used in the home or office.



The pitch also included the incumbent Nexus Communications.



The agency reports to Anna Woollven, Osram retail marketing and

communications manager.
