Whiteoaks launches digital offering aimed at lead generation

Whiteoaks has launched a digital offering, aimed at lead generation and community management.

The launch of Whiteoaks Digital follows the appointment of head of digital Andy Black, who joined from social media consultancy 90:10 earlier this year.

The agency has also recruited new staff and invested in training for existing employees.

‘What we are looking to do is outcome-driven, so all services will come with firm performance commitment,’ said Whiteoaks’ managing director James Kelliher. ‘We are linking social media to lead generation.’

Whiteoaks Digital focuses primarily on Twitter and LinkedIn and is split into three services: lead generation, community management, and creating brand presence online.

All campaigns are designed to be measurable in order to let clients track activity and achieve specific results.

According to Kelliher, around 25 per cent of Whiteoaks’ resources are now focused on digital services.

He said that although digital services already played a part, the appointment of Black recognised the growing importance of social media.

Whiteoaks Digital was developed with the help of clients such as computer company Bull. Andrew Carr, Bull’s sales and marketing director for the UK and Ireland, said the company saw a considerable increase in user engagement and sales leads after Whiteoaks took control of its Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
