HONG KONG: French fashion house Louis Vuitton has named Susan
Loughry as communications director for Asia-Pacific.
She replaces David Au, who left two months ago, and will oversee
advertising, PR and the event and merchandising teams.
She joined LV in 1993 as a store projects manager after leaving her post
as a senior designer for Hong Kong architecture firm Denton, Corker &
'My main interest is events, and we're particularly interested in
developing our market share in China and Korea, where we will be working
with our local agencies,' said Loughry.
She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the
brand's marketing plans throughout 14 countries in Asia-Pacific.
David Au, who left the post prior to Loughry's appointment, was
unavailable for comment.
