Bite Communications has recruited Timi Siytangco as director of digital strategies for Southern Asia to expand the digital capabilities of its Singapore and Australian offices. HootSuite, the social media management platform, has selected Edelman to drive sales of its enterprise software. Sandy Pell, manager of PR at HootSuite, said the company selected Edelman because of its global reach and media and business connections. The account will be led by Edelman vice-president Travis Murdock from the firm's Silicon Valley office. Read More

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Amy Rosenberg in the newly created role of executive vice-president and US director of media relations. She joins from Burson-Marsteller's US corporate practice, where she was managing director. Read more

The Burson-Marsteller Leadership Institute has been formed by six marketing and comms firms for comms professionals in China. It comprises Burson-Marsteller, Penn Schoen Berland, Wolf Group Asia, Y&R and Landor Associates, as well as creative comms and leadership training firm Acewood. Read more
