PUBLIC SECT0R: Charities survey conducted by Adbvocacy Online

CHARITIES SURVEY: Charities are being urged to be more personal

when contacting MPs. A survey, conducted by Advocacy Online, which

specialises in online support to charities, including Age Concern and

the NSPCC, shows 96 per cent of MPs said a personalised signed letter

was best to get their attention. An unsigned fax was viewed by two

thirds of surveyed MPs as the least effective way.
