VeriSign retains Banner PR for UK and EMEA remit

Banner PR has been retained by California-based internet

transaction security firm VeriSign on a PR campaign for the UK and

EMEA.

The Nasdaq-listed company, handed Banner the brief - believed to be

worth more than £150,000 - as part of a major rebranding

campaign.

VeriSign has appointed Applied Communications in the US to work on the

rebrand, which was launched following VeriSign's acquisition of domain

name registrar Network Solutions in June last year.

Banner will implement the rebranding in the EMEA region, alongside a

corporate PR, trade and technical brief.

The agency will initially work across the UK, France and Germany, with

plans to extend the campaign to Scandinavia, Benelux and EMEA next

year.

The account is led by Banner director Robert Hollier, who reports to

VeriSign comms director Tom Galvin.
