What is it good for?
Alfresco lunches with one of the best rooftop views of London. For summer, there's a new seafood menu that is great for sharing dishes.
The fresh, chubby oysters and the most generous servings of crab. We shared Scottish smoked salmon with shallots, boiled egg, parsley and sourdough bread, devoured along with an enormous Cornish-dressed crab with mayonnaise and six Colchester oysters.
Who's the boss?
Sir Richard Branson, with restaurant manager Peter Avis.
This blew the budget, but ask the head barman Elliot what drinks he recommends with your seafood. For example, a 'raspberry and orange shrub', which is shaken with homemade orange vinegar, is perfect to get you in the mood for seafood.
What's the damage?
A recent meal for two, not including the cocktails, cost £51. After eating a lot of seafood, we did not want anything for pudding except a fresh fruit sorbet, which we shared.
