The agency has been brought by the Marley’s Mellow Mood brand, which donates a percentage of its profts to the Marley family’s 1Love charity.
As part of a year-long brief it will cover all trade and consumer communications for the brand, as well as help with music-based events.
Jamie Stockwood, co-owner of The Zeitgeist Agency, said: ‘We were selected as we are music specialists and across our brands, festivals and artist work are perfectly placed to secure Marley's within this fickle area of the media, but also add an interesting slant to the food and drink trade press.’
Marley’s Mellow Mood is manufactured and marketed through a joint partnership between the Marley Beverage Company and VIVA Beverages.
The new range includes both fizzy soft drinks and cold teas.
Included in upcoming experiential work put on by the brand is an upcoming mini music festival in London’s Brick Lane later this month.
Stockwood added: ‘We are really looking forward to working with the brand as there can be few more iconic faces to have on pack, and Bob is the perfect bastion for this new category of 'relaxation drink'.’
John Mulvey, Marley's Mellow Mood brand manager, commented: ‘We know who our core consumers are and understand that to meaningfully engage with them, we must credibly integrate our brand into their lifestyle. Creative arts but especially music, represent a key lever to do that. Our partnership with Zeitgeist acknowledges the fact that we need to communicate with this group as often as possible, through relevant media platforms, using engaging content.’
