The debates will be held within mayor Boris Johnson’s City Hall and are taking place during the course of this month.
On Saturday, Wales will speak, while other figures attending the discussions include Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Jim O’Neill.
33 Digital’s work will be around identifying and engaging social media influencers in support of the event.
Pete Sigrist, MD of 33 Digital, said: ‘We know there are huge numbers of business people who use social media tools and we intend to tap into that to help promote the events in advance and encourage those there to share in the debates taking place.’
The events, which are the brainchild of Global Cities’ managing director David Adam, are designed to appeal to the businesspeople expected to spend time in London during the Olympic Games.
Speakers are leading debates in four areas: the growth of Asia, London’s role in mitigating climate change, the disruptive impact of technology on the economy and the power of cities to lead change.
Sigrist added: ‘What we’re trying to do is ensure that those who might have a natural interest are aware, so they can decide whether to engage or not.’
