Fishburn Hedges topples Brunswick for Investcorp job

Global investment group Investcorp has completed its financial and

corporate agency review and has handed Fishburn Hedges the brief in

place of incumbent agency Brunswick.

The pitch was described at the time as a 'standard two-year review' by

Investcorp head of communications Deborah Botwood Smith (PRWeek, 1

June).

Although she declined to reveal the number of agencies involved in the

process, it is known that Brunswick pitched.

The FH team is led by assistant MD Simon Matthews and head of financial

practice Andrew Marshall, reporting to Botwood Smith.

Matthews described the agency's brief as, 'working with the firm's

in-house team to raise awareness of Investcorp among its partner firms

and current and potential investors'.

FH will also work with Investcorp's other retained shops including Kekst

in the US, and Charles Barker BSMG in Germany.
