Capcom calls in Full Fat for Resident Evil PR brief

Gaming giant Capcom Entertainment has called in boutique PR consultancy Full Fat to handle consumer PR for the launch of the latest instalment of its zombie-themed Resident Evil Franchise.

Released on 2 October 2012, Resident Evil 6 is one of the publisher's highest profile games in the run-up to Christmas.

The Resident Evil series of games, which have also been turned into a series of Hollywood films, have sold around 50 million units since the first instalment in 1996.

Full Fat will join forces with experiential agency Miss Cakehead to work on a brief that asked agencies to explore the games core themes but to avoid the clichéd zombie approach.

Full Fat will oversee all aspects of the PR narrative and will be responsible for managing the campaign press office, handling all proactive and reactive media enquiries and generating all review coverage in mainstream media targets.
