The Melbourne-based company, which owns Peregrine Adventures, youth-focused Gecko’s Adventures and new luxury adventure brand Peregrine Reserve, is looking to raise its profile in the UK.

The company offers tours across the globe, including Peru's Inca Trail, the rainforests of Borneo and Argentina's Iguazu Falls.

The agency will look to increase both consumer and trade awareness of the three brands, promote the cultural, adventure, responsible and grassroots tours and re-establish a recognisable identity for each brand.

Some of the awareness-raising activity will focus on its 35th anniversary this year.

Glenyce Johnson, managing director of Peregrine, said: ‘Peregrine is a company built by travellers for travellers, and we recognised that the Brighter Group team shares the same passion for travel.

‘I have full faith that Brighter has the experience needed to elevate our position while remaining true to the Peregrine ethos.’

Account director Amy Skelding, who leads the account team of three, said:  "We’ve got a bit of everything to speak to media about – luxury, adventure, value, family, both well known and off-the-beaten-track destinations and all the bits in between.

'The most striking thing about each of the brands is the level of dedication to ensuring that travellers get the most authentic travel experience possible, whether it be a foodie trip through Vietnam or a wildlife adventure through the Galapagos.'

Peregrine Adventures operates tours in 80 countries and across seven continents, and aims to ‘celebrate the local, authentic and cultural aspects of a destination’.
