Halogen has been briefed to develop an integrated campaign to drive retail footfall, support local businesses and promote Clapham Junction as one of London's most exciting retail and leisure destinations.
As part of its work, the agency is launching a fresh slogan, 'At the Junction', for the area. It will seek to promote the five disparate locations of Lavender Hill, Northcote Road, Battersea High Street, St John's Hill and St John's Road as one cohesive destination.
Working with digital marketing specialist BranchMartinSpicer, Halogen has also launched an iPhone app to showcase the best the area has to offer.
The app was developed using funds allocated by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Other key features of the campaign include a proposal for a new colour-coded, zonal two signage scheme, a new website and comms support for seasonal consumer events.
Halogen director Gerwyn James said: 'The challenge has been to help Wandsworth Council create a sense of place for this fantastic area and to encourage people to explore it more.'
