FTI Consulting and Tulchan Communications are on either side of the deal that will see Japanese advertising giant Dentsu acquire UK marcoms firm Aegis Group in a £3.16bn deal. FTI is advising Dentsu, while Tulchan is working with retained client Aegis.

The Middle East Investor Relations Society has launched its first chapter outside the region. The industry body's London presence will act as a platform for interaction between regional corporate members and London-based entities focused on the Middle East.

LMS Capital, the UK-listed private equity firm, has called in MHP Communications to handle its financial comms. MHP chief operating officer Tim McCall and director Katie Hunt are working on the account, previously handled by Brunswick.

Yule Catto, the FTSE 250 specialist chemicals firm, has brought in Pendomer following a competitive pitch. The brief was previously held by MHP Communications. Co-founder Charlie Armitstead will handle the account.

DX Group, the UK market leader in logistics and delivery services, has chosen corporate PR agency Rostrum Communications to raise its profile within the UK marketplace.
