Kutner, who was made redundant when More Th>n reduced its group corporate comms headcount from five to two, joins WorldPay as head of comms.

In this newly created role, Kutner is responsible for improving employee comms through an internal comms remit and also managing the brand’s external reputation.

He reports to organisational capability director Tanya Channing. Kutner was unavailable for comment.

WorldPay was carved out of Royal Bank of Scotland more than a year ago after the European Commission's clearance in December 2009 of state aid to the bank.

The card processing company is reportedly working on an aggressive expansion plan to double its value in order to float on the stock market by 2015.

WorldPay, through its Streamline cards operation, processes around half of all card transactions made in UK retailers. Globally, the company processes around eight billion transactions a year and has more than 400,000 customers.
