The campaigns focus on the work of the student media through sponsorship
of the Radio 1 Student Radio Awards and working with events promoter
Mean Fiddler to provide hospitality for student journalists at this
year's Carling Weekender festival.
The agency will also undertake general promotion for the pubs, seeking
to secure national and student media coverage.
Account director Justin Crosby heads the Kazoo team, reporting to It's a
Scream brand manager Chris Moulson. The appointment was made on the back
of projects undertaken by the agency last year.
'The student press is rarely encouraged and treated correctly,' said
Crosby. 'They are the journalists of the future. Hopefully we'll give
them a real quality experience,' he added.
