Public Sector: The Public Sector Week

Birmingham City Council is on the hunt for PR help to promote a free open-air festival. Jamaica in the Square, which will celebrate 50 years of Jamaican independence and Birmingham hosting the island's Olympic training camp, will take place in early August.

The Association of University Directors of Estates has appointed Kindred to develop and implement its first external awareness-raising programme, following a competitive pitch. As well as a review of the name and brand, Kindred will help make the case for the continued funding of university estates.

The Local Government Association is launching a campaign focused on central Government. Show Us You Care will support councils in their messaging to central Government around the planned reform of social care. Its three strands will be quality, integration of health and social care, and social funding.
