Oki Europe hands pan-Europe brief to Biss Lancaster

Office equipment company Oki Europe has handed its first

pan-European PR account to Biss Lancaster Euro RSCG.

The agency won the account following a four-way pitch and will work

alongside its sister agency Brandsmiths which is working on a branding

project with Oki.

Kevin Thompson, Brandsmiths joint MD, said: 'We are working on a brand

definition project that will bring more focus to the business.'

Design consultancy Checkland Kindleysides is also working on the

branding project.

Biss Lancaster's four-strong account team is headed by senior consultant

Rachel Phillips and overseen by Isabel Greenwood, reporting to Chris

Wright, Oki brand communications manager.

Sarah Harris, Biss Lancaster's recently appointed marketing director,

said this new account was created by Oki to provide a Europe-wide

coordinated approach to all communications and branding issues.

Harris takes over in the role from Johnny Pitt, who has left to set up

his own consultancy.

Her role includes new business development, liaison with Biss

Lancaster's sister agencies and media liaison regarding the agency's

work.
