Porter Novelli's senior partner and global chief marketing officer Michael Goldberg has left his post after six months. Before his time at Porter Novelli, he was executive vice-president and chief marketing officer of sister Omnicom firm Zimmerman Advertising.

UBS chief comms officer for the Americas Peter McKillop has left the company after less than a year in the role. McKillop joined UBS in July 2011 to lead corporate comms and branding activities. Before his tenure at UBS, he was executive vice-president of financial comms at Edelman.

Cleveland Clinic has called in Ketchum. Although this is the first time an agency has worked with the non-profit organisation's clinical, hospital, research and academic locations across the board, local PR firm RBB has handled Florida projects in the past, while Kirvin Doak Communications has assisted its Nevada facility.

The UN Foundation hired Brazilian PR firm LiveAd for Rio+Social, a social media initiative that preceded the UN's three-day Rio+20 summit on sustainable development, which concluded today.

Rice Communications has appointed James Brasher as director and partner for its Singapore office. Brasher joins from Lewis Public Relations, where he was the MD for Asia Pacific.
