Andrew Wilson, RBS Group's head of group comms, is leaving the bank to join WPP. He will take on a client-facing role across a number of WPP's agencies and will be involved in a wide number of accounts including RBS' account work, currently handled by Finsbury, and MediaCom.

Pelham Bell Pottinger has been called in by i2i Events Group to handle the PR for the 2012 World Retail Congress. Now in its sixth year, the congress expects to welcome about 1,000 delegates from more than 60 countries. The event will take place from 19 to 21 September at the ExCel London exhibition and conference centre.

Oasis, the dentistry group, has brought in Citigate Dewe Rogerson as its retained PR adviser. The firm, which has more than 200 practices and 850 dentists across the UK, has briefed the agency to handle its corporate and consumer PR.

FTI Consulting has hired Cleopatra Kitti as a senior MD in its strategic comms practice, focusing on international corporate and public affairs in the EMEA region. She joins from APCO Worldwide.

Yellow Jersey handled the £52.5m listing of Proventus Renewables on the GXG Markets. The firm specialises in the renewable energy sector and focuses on activities in Central and Eastern Europe.
