Claire Dobbs, who joins from PAN Advertising, has been handed responsibility for the overall performance and management of Euro RSCG Life UK’s London office.

Dobbs helped transform PAN Advertising into a global player with the addition of ?Roche and GSK to its client roster during her eight-year tenure, having worked her way up from account director to MD. She has also held directorships at marcoms firm Grey Healthcare and was new business director for IMS Health.

She said: ‘I started out as a medical rep and came up through the ranks in marketing, so I have a broad understanding of what clients need.

‘There’s been a change in healthcare from the traditional to a multi-channel ?approach, and this [move] is part of that strategy. My role ?is to raise our profile across Europe and to continue to grow the business.’

Dobbs will work with vice- president for PR Cori Blair, who heads the PR team. Blair joined in September, having previously been vice-president at Porter Novelli.

Both report to Ed Stapor, partner, CEO Europe, at Havas Worldwide Health, who said: ‘Claire’s extensive pharma background spans several comms sectors. Her passion for people, performance and creativity will be tremendous assets in her new role at Euro RSCG Life.’

Euro RSCG Life is part of Havas Worldwide Health, a network of 60 agencies in 50 countries offering advertising, PR, digital, event promotion and healthcare consulting services.
