The agency has hired Paul Raeburn as associate director and brought in four additional account executives. The agency states that the new recruits are ‘the first of many planned for the current year’.

Raeburn joins from Reputation Inc, where he was responsible for corporate reputation consulting and digital strategy advice across a range of sectors.

Previous roles included associate director at Fishburn Hedges and an analyst at Cubitt Consulting.

Raeburn reports to MD Chris Norton.

Norton said of the appointment: ‘Paul will bring strong corporate communications skills to enhance our existing senior resource. He will bring his knowledge of media, digital and crisis and issues communications to a range of our clients.’

The move to strengthen its workforce comes after PRWeek revealed Blue Rubicon has brought in marcoms dealmaker Results International to find third party investment.

Since forming in 1999, Blue Rubicon has grown to more than 130 people.
