The crowdfunding property investment company has called in Rumpus Communications to handle its launch and ongoing PR.

The House Crowd, which is owned by property developer Frazer Fearnhead, is offering investors the chance to buy a stake in a property for as little as £1,000. The business allows people to invest in the property with no banks, no mortgage arrangements, no property finder’s fees and no credit checks.

In this way, investors can club together to purchase a distressed property which is then refurbished and rented out.

Once Rumpus has finished the launch phase of its remit, it aims to begin a regional campaign, including announcing the first property bought using the service. It will target investors, entrepreneurs and those with an interest in crowdfunding.

The agency will also target the general public with an interest in personal finance, property investment and alternatives to traditional savings models.

As part of its remit Rumpus will carry out an intensive social media campaign including daily Facebook, Twitter, Google+ updates and weekly blogging.
