Media: Free women's mag launches in London

Amuse Media is launching a free glossy monthly magazine in London on Monday, featuring interviews with Gwyneth Paltrow, Stella McCartney, Norah Jones and Selfridge's creative director Alannah Weston.

Amuse, aimed at affluent women, will have a print run of 120,000 and be handed out at 75 tube stations across the capital. It will also be available in selected City offices, spas, health clubs and first class airport lounges. An app will follow in September.

Sasha Slater, former editor of ES Magazine, has taken the title's editorship, with ex-HarpersBazaar.co.uk editor Stephanie Hirschmiller as her deputy. Amuse will cover arts, culture, fashion, beauty, shopping and lifestyles. Prominent contributors include Sadie Frost and her 11-year-old daughter Iris Law, wine critic Victoria Moore, interior designer Kelly Hoppen, and fashion designers David Koma and Alessandra Rich.
