Three_D has been briefed to create a social media campaign asking individuals to pitch a business idea. The winner will receive £10,000 worth of funding to start up or drive innovation and growth within their businesses.
The campaign aims to highlight how small business owners are increasingly using Borro as an alternative to banks.
Beth Carroll, head of social media at Threepipe, said: ‘This is an opportunity to kick-start Borro's social media outreach and we will be using multiple social platforms to drive self-starters to the Borro Facebook page to engage with the campaign.’
To add weight to the campaign, Borro will team up with Adam Street Private Members Club and networking organisation Business Circuit to help facilitate the search for the winning self-starter.
Paul Aitken, founder and CEO of Borro, will head the campaign that will be supported by Lansons Communications, Borro's financial PR agency.
Tim Levene's Augmentum Capital backs Borro, as well as online gambling firm Betfair.com and juice bar chain Crussh.
