STOP PRESS: Wright urges tighter rules after Platell diary

IPR President Ian Wright has called for tighter regulation of

political communicators following news of Tory media head Amanda

Platell's secret campaign video diary. Wright, a former adviser to

ex-Lib Dem leader Paddy Ashdown, has advocated an extension of Civil

Service regulations to advisers in government and in opposition parties.
