Rudd holds most sway

Roland Rudd has been named as the UK's most powerful PR professional, following research by PRWeek.

The boss of RLM Finsbury was praised for his high-level connections in both the business and political spheres.

Rudd edged out last year's top ranked Matthew Freud, whose influence may have been challenged by the decline of the 'Chipping Norton set'.

The research, carried out during the past month, was timed to coincide with this week's launch of PRWeek's Power Book 2012 at an event in London's Met Bar.
