The agency will look to build the profile of Musto across consumer and specialist press in the lead-up to the 2012 Olympics and beyond.
Musto’s brand ambassadors compete across sailing, shooting and equestrian disciplines, and includes Zara Philips.
Frank will manage a targeted PR campaign, including brand profiling and leveraging Musto’s associated sports ambassadors.
Simon Busby, brand director at Musto, commented: ‘We wanted to appoint an agency that could drive the press office for the Musto collections but also develop overarching campaigns across the brand, its specialist performance areas and ambassadors.’
Musto was established more than 40 years ago and specialises in hi-tech waterproof sailing gear, as well as shooting and equestrian performance wear including Gore-tex jackets, PrimaLoft gilets and Polartec fleeces.
Individual brand ambassadors comprise; Paul Goodison and Pete Goss in sailing, Charlotte Kerwood in shooting and Zara Phillips, William Fox Pitt and Kristina Cook in equestrianism.
Musto is also the official technical clothing partner to the Skandia Team GBR (the British Sailing team in the Olympic and Paralympic classes).
Brand founder Keith Musto won a silver media for Great Britain in sailing at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
