MEDIA BRIEFS: Radio Times editor hunt ends with Horne

Radio Times, the 1.2 million-selling weekly listings magazine, has

ended its six-month hunt for an editor. Nigel Horne, a former Daily

Telegraph and Sunday Times journalist, will take charge on 29 July.

Nicholas Brett, who stood in after Sue Robinson resigned suddenly last

December, insisted that Horne would not undo either Brett's redesign or

the title's increased concentration on multi-channel listings. Brett

will become deputy MD of BBC Magazines.
