Flack: (saving) on expenses - Taberna Etrusca, London EC4

Reviewer - Alex Deane, head of public affairs, Weber Shandwick

- What is it good for?

Bustling, utterly authentic Italian one-off in the shadow of Bow Church, loved by more discerning City types. The sound of Bow Bells chiming can occasionally be heard over the happy banter. I have taken many people there and they have all been impressed.

- Signature dish

The Filetto di Branzino con Patate e Funghi Misti - roasted fillet of sea bass with mixed wild mushrooms and oven baked diced potato.

- Who's the boss?

Renata Gorna for owners Enzo and Piero Quaradeghini.

- Tips please

Booking is a must and if eating during the summer, the lovely courtyard tables are at a premium. If you are on a deadline, ask how long your dish will take. In my experience some dishes may take a little while to be served, although they are well worth the wait.

- What's the damage?

£30 will give you a feast, although the wine list is pretty irresistible and will add considerably to the bill.
