The National Citizen Service has issued a tender for an agency to create a marketing film targeted at young people. The contract, worth £8,000-£12,500, is to build awareness of the National Citizen Service among 16-year-olds. The service is a flagship government programme aimed at getting young people involved in volunteering.

Portsmouth City Council has launched a campaign to urge Twitter users to tweet their favourite Charles Dickens quote, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Dickens' birth on 7 February.

The BBC has promoted Sam Hodges to head of vision comms. Hodges has held the acting role since July this year.

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust has announced it is set to publish its NHS Choices ratings on its own website. NHS Choices enables users to post an 'overall' rating of a hospital by saying whether they would recommend it.
