Tamesis expansion plans take in Manchester office

Tamesis Business Communications is opening a Manchester office next

month as part of an expansion programme.

Catherine Kerns will head the office as account director, and will be

joined by account executive Joanne Sistern. Kerns will be expected to

build a team to work on a variety of accounts, ranging from construction

and infrastructure to regeneration.

Kerns, who will report to Sue Brown, has joined from Manchester agency

Roland Dransfield PR where she was also an account director.

TBC is headquartered in London and also has operations in Oxford. It has

plans to open a Scottish office in Edinburgh next year, partner Sue

Brown said.

'We have appointed a number of key staff for our London HQ operations,'

added Brown. 'Due to continued growth, we wanted to recruit a number of

specialists.'

Helen Pearce, the former editor of Estates Gazette magazine, has been

appointed editorial director, and Natalie Pin, formally a marketing and

communications officer at the London Dockland Commission, has been

appointed as head of events.
