Hope&Glory, the new consumer agency founded by Jo Carr and James Gordon-MacIntosh, has been tasked to create the ‘Tweets from Santa’ campaign for O2.
The Twitter and YouTube-based campaign will enable Twitter users to send each other video messages, recorded by Santa from O2’s ‘digital grotto’.
Hope&Glory will be managing the campaign working with O2’s in-house social media team. The agency’s brief includes managing the social media, content creation and promotion elements of all the activity.
Gordon-MacIntosh, managing partner at Hope&Glory said: ‘A new agency couldn’t ask for a better project to work on in its first few months of its life.’
The campaign will allow Twitter users to send the message they would like Santa to read out to @O2 using the hashtag #O2Santa. Santa will then record a message, posted on YouTube and the user will receive a message telling them their clip is ready and that they can send it to its intended recipient.
Last week, Hope&Glory picked up the PR account for 300 year old British wine retailer, Berry Bros & Rudd.
