Lamb joins Ketchum’s healthcare practice from Ogilvy Healthworld Medical Education, where he led the digital offering and worked on projects for clients including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim, and AstraZeneca.

In his newly created role, Lamb has been charged with developing the Ketchum’s digital offering in its healthcare practice for pharmaceutical clients for both the healthcare PR team and Inspired Science, the agency’s medical education offering.

Commenting on the appointment, Amanda Sefton, MD Healthcare, Ketchum Pleon London, said:  ‘As doctors, patients and health industries embrace search engines, smartphones, tablets, apps and social media networks to find and share information, digital expertise has become the new imperative in healthcare comms.’

In October, Ketchum Pleon won a PRWeek award in the healthcare category for its work with the Royal College of Surgeons for client Allergan.
