GLOBAL ROUND-UP: News in brief

HONG KONG: The controversial copyright law prohibiting unauthorised

photocopying of newspapers is facing potential suspension. A move by the

Legislative Council (LegCo) to suspend the law has received a second

reading. LegCo approved the law at committee stage in early April.

Opposition since has been shown from government, business and PR bodies

in Hong Kong (PRWeek, 27 April).
