INTERNATIONAL: Senay and Verrengia net F-H regional briefs in US

ST LOUIS: Fleishman-Hillard has appointed two regional presidents

in the US.

David Senay and Peter Verrengia have been promoted by F-H chairman and

chief executive officer John Graham to oversee operations on the West

Coast and East Coast of America respectively.

'Both are proven leaders who exemplify the commitment to serving clients

and developing staff that remains so crucial to our success,' said

Graham.

Senay joined F-H in 1984 and has worked across a wide range of

disciplines in marketing, corporate and crisis communications. He helped

develop brands for Nortel Networks and Coca-Cola.

He is currently general manager of the firm's world HQ in St Louis, a

role he will keep as well as taking on numerous corporate

responsibilities.

Verrengia - who joined F-H in 1987 - is to retain his general manager

duties at F-H's New York office, and is to oversee the firm's Boston

operations.

He founded the firm's NY-based communications arm and he has a

background in financial and corporate PR. He has headed accounts for

Exxon Mobil, DuPont and JP Morgan Chase.

The appointments bring the number of regional presidents to eight across

F-H's global network.

F-H has become the world's leading PR firm, according to figures

released by the Council of Public Relations Firms last month (PRWeek, 4

May).
