The Pre-school Learning Alliance has restructured its PR
operations, merging its marketing and PR teams to create a 12-strong
department. The team will be headed by the charity's first head of
communications, who has yet to be appointed. The head of communications
will report to CEO Margaret Lochrie. She said the charity already had a
good relationship with corporate supporters and politicians but that she
wanted to see greater awareness among parents about the alliance's work
and of pre-school learning.
