Results of CIPR vote

The incoming CIPR president elect has vowed to focus on professional development during her presidency.

Ashley PR MD Sue Wolstenholme has been voted CIPR president elect, and will take the presidency in 2013.

Wolstenholme polled 38 per cent of the vote against Staniforth MD Rob Brown and Lionel Zetter of Zetter's Political Services. Her agency is based in Cornwall.

Wolstenholme said: 'Improving professional development opportunities has been one of my key commitments with the CIPR in recent years.'

She will serve on the CIPR Executive Board next year as president elect alongside 2012 president Sally Sykes.
