The company, which was purchased by online travel giant TripAdvisor in 2010, connects holiday home owners and managers with holidaymakers looking for holiday villas, cottages and apartments around the world.

Following a competitive pitch, Shine has been asked to drive awareness of holidaylettings.co.uk among consumers and holiday home owners as well as managing a multi-channel press office.

Shine will report directly to holidaylettings.co.uk’s head of comms, Kate Stinchcombe-Gillies.

Founded in Oxford in 1999, holidaylettings.co.uk showcases more than 50,000 holiday homes in 116 countries.

Earlier this month, Tourism New Zealand appointed Shine to lead its consumer PR strategy in the UK.
