Healthcare: PHA to raise profile of healthy snack range

PHA Media is to promote the credentials of three new snack brands aimed at health-conscious consumers.

The agency has been hired by Big Boy Brand Management to handle the consumer PR for its three new snack brands, Tasty Little Numbers, the Gorilla Boogers and The Crazy Ninja.

PHA has been tasked with launching the brands to the UK market and promoting Big Boy Brand Management as a company offering snacks for busy, health-conscious individuals who want to eat well.

During the next six months PHA will launch the brands to the national media and secure a number of high-profile celebrity endorsements. The agency will target the health, lifestyle and beauty media and initially focus on the 2012 New Year's resolution period.

PHA Media's Dani Boskovic will lead the account and will report to the founder and creator of the brands, Jo Beach.

Tasty Little Numbers, the first brand to be launched, offers consumers a range of portion-controlled snacks and hot meals designed for busy individuals who want to stay healthy without spending time counting calories. Commenting on the brand, Beach said: 'Managing weight to stay healthy is all about convenience and portion control.'

The PR campaign for raisins brand Gorilla Boogers will promote the product to health-conscious parents and emphasise the product's links with The Gorilla Organization charitable appeal.

All three brands are currently available to buy at online retailer Amazon, One Stop stores and VIT shops across the UK.

Big Boy Brand Management plans to have its products stocked in high street stores in the coming months.
