Hackney Homes head of comms Chloe Goddard is leaving the housing provider after eight years to set up Chloe Goddard PR. Her role will be continued by her job-share partner Olaide Oyekanmi.

The BBC has overhauled its press office website, as it prepares to lose 42 comms staff. The new site, which has been renamed the BBC Media Centre, went live this week. It is divided into four areas: latest news; media packs; statements & responses; and programme information.

Derbyshire County Council is working with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Derbyshire police, East Midlands Ambulance Service, the primary care trust and voluntary groups to launch a campaign to remind locals how to keep themselves safe and warm in the coming months.

Havering Council has teamed up with shopping centres in Romford to promote the Essex town as a retail destination, in light of competition from Westfield Stratford. The campaign promotes Romford as offering 'character, heart and soul'.
