PUBLIC SECTOR: Rebrand sees Community Fund grow team

The Community Fund is expanding its communications team following a

rebranding last month. Previously known as the National Lottery

Charities Board, the organisation - which makes lottery cash grants -

wants to boost its national profile. Earlier this year, it appointed a

second web officer. It has now created a further three roles: PR

assistant, content manager and policy and publications officer, to bring

the team to 12. Communications director Paul Hensby heads the team. He

said: 'Media management will be strengthened and more creative

promotional work will help us reach 'cold spots' - those areas where we

need to target our funds.'
