ITV has struck a deal with Three that will allow subscribers to the mobile operator to catch up on programmes such as The X Factor and Coronation Street on their smartphones.

The deal will let Three customers who subscribe to its mobile TV video-on-demand service watch ITV catch-up and archived content.

GaydarRadio, the dance station, has celebrated its tenth anniversary and unveiled a new website with more video content, blogs and chatrooms. The station, launched in a bedroom in Twickenham, broadcasts live from Pride events round the country and has won digital station of the year at the Sony Radio Academy Awards.

BSkyB has reported pre-tax profits of £307m for the three months to the end of September, up 33.4 per cent year on year. Ad revenues rose by three per cent to £105m. Subscription revenues were also up by seven per cent.

McCain, the frozen food company, and Mikado, the Japanese biscuit brand, will be the first brands to use Channel 4's new digital ad formats. The Ad Social format allows viewers to recommend or check in with a brand using social media from within the 4oD player. The Ad Bloom format allows advertisers to include a microsite within the player, featuring photos, video and information on product features.
