The Chime Communications-owned agency, which celebrated its 50th birthday last week, has created the new division to expand its youth lifestyle offering and build on the work it is doing with existing clients including IMG Fashion Fringe.
Nicola Hamilton, account director, will head up the team. She commented: ‘Fundamentally we want to add colour to brand communications and help our clients to make waves.’
The agency hopes to connect brands to the ‘next generation’ of people, causes and places. To support this it is running regular ‘Trend Trawls’ to connect client marketing and communications teams with the latest emerging trends.
This year the agency has picked up consumer accounts including Nintendo, BlackBerry and TalkTalk.
