Good Relations, part of the Bell Pottinger Group, has hired Fever's Jo Bartlett as associate director. Bartlett will work on the Nintendo and BlackBerry accounts in the consumer tech team and report to director Steve Marinker. Bartlett was previously a senior account director at Fever, working for clients including HTC and Warner Home Entertainment. She was formerly associate director at John Doe, where she worked on Sony PlayStation and W London.

ControlCircle, a provider of managed and cloud-based services, has switched from VP Communications to Clevertouch in a bid to increase its brand awareness. Clevertouch aims to target IT professionals through a thought leadership programme incorporating PR, social media and marketing.

Guardian24, which provides mobile technology to organisations with remote workers, has appointed CubanEight as its first UK PR agency. Guardian24's clients include the NHS Trust and Orange. CubanEight will drive awareness of the company via media channels and through a targeted awards programme.

Canadian Solar, the solar energy company, has called in Waggener Edstrom as its first UK PR agency. Waggner Edstrom will promote the quality of Canadian Solar products and aim to make solar energy more accessible.

Content & motion is to extend its EMEA network of independent social PR agencies to Spain next month. The network, entitled Box Network Europe, includes German digital comms agency Panorama300, Italian digital PR agency Hagakure and French social comms agency CGo&Co. It aims to enable brands to access other EMEA markets via social PR programs, and works with clients including Samsung and O2.
