Travel and lifestyle PR consultancy KTA PR is charged with co-ordinating an integrated corporate PR campaign highlighting the benefits of using the hotel chain.

The agency will work across all of Rotana’s four brands: Rotana Hotels & Resorts; Centro Hotels; Arjaan Hotel Apartments and Rahaan Hotels & Resorts.

KTA plans to use experiential promotions and destination campaigns to target consumer, business and trade media.

The account will be headed up by account director Fiona Anderson.

Amal Harb, Rotana’s corporate vice-president marketing, said: ‘KTA has consistently shown its worth as a PR consultancy that delivers real results for some of the world’s best known and prestigious hotel brands and we look forward to working with KTA as we focus on attracting more UK business and leisure travellers to our hotels and resorts across the Middle East and Africa.’

Rotana has grown from two properties in 1993 to a forecasted total of 70 hotels and resorts by 2012.

Last week its co-founder, president and CEO Selim El Zyr was named Hospitality CEO of the Year at the 2011 CEO Middle East Awards.
